Aging process: 10-12 months in french barriques; bottle-aged for 12-14 months

Color: Deep ruby red
Aroma: Full-bodied and complex, small, ripe red and black fruits, vanilla, spices, chocolate, mahogany
Flavor: Full bodied, with round soft tannins, and a long-lasting final
Best paired with: Red meats, roasted game, stews, wild game, seasoned cheeses. Highly recommended with aged, 13-month D.O.P. Ragusano cheese, Nebrodi provola cheese and pecorino.
Serve at: 16º-18º C.
Note: The name “Tané” means “Gaetana” in Sicilian dialect


ORCHER SOIL: the soil’s unique characteristics find their best expression in Nero d’Avola grapes, and Valle dell’Acate has a small vineyard here that produces no more than 800 grams of grape per plant. The wine produced here is the Tané.
